| Notifications ensure that the correct people are made aware of newly assigned, upcoming, and overdue tasks, as well as receiving comments, announcements, alerts, and sensor updates. Each user can customize their notification preferences to receive updates via email, text message, push notifications, or a combination of these methods. |

If you're not receiving Task Due Soon alerts, try these steps:
No sound when notifications arrive
- Check that your device volume is turned up (not just ringer volume – media/notification volume may be separate)
- Ensure your phone isn't in Do Not Disturb or Focus mode
- On Android: Go to Settings Apps Zenput Notifications and confirm the sound is enabled for the notification channel
Not receiving notifications at all
- If you previously disabled Alerts in the app, re-enable them in the Zenput app 'Settings'
- Check that notifications are enabled for Zenput in your device settings:
- iOS: Settings > Zenput > Notifications toggle > Allow Notifications on
- Android: Settings > Apps > Zenput > Notifications toggle on
Still not working?
- Uninstall and reinstall the Zenput app, then sign in again

Task completed notification
This example shows a one-time task that was assigned by the user receiving the notification and has now been completed:
Tasks due soon reminder
The tasks due soon reminder provides a digest of all tasks coming due within the next three days for a particular user.
Important requirements for tasks due soon reminders:
- Can only be sent via Email or Do Not Notify (no push or text options)
- The notification is ONLY sent if at least one task is due in exactly three days
- THIS CANNOT BE CUSTOMIZED
- Only includes Weekly, Monthly, and One-Time tasks (Daily tasks are excluded)
Overdue tasks reminder
The overdue tasks notification sends a digest of all tasks that are overdue in one email, rather than one email per task. It is sent to the reporter (creator) of the task.
Overdue reminder frequency: An email digest reminder is sent a maximum of 5 times - one day after the task becomes overdue, then continuing with delays until 4am, after which no more reminders are sent.
The overdue tasks reminder can only be sent via Email or Do Not Notify (no push or text options).
