If you recently noticed that your Sales Forecast totals don’t match the daypart breakdown after our latest update to the Sales Forecasting interface, you might be experiencing a known issue caused by saved forecasts created before the update went live.
What’s happening?
In the previous version of the Sales Forecasting screen, users had to manually click buttons to redistribute totals to dayparts and revenue centers. If a forecast was saved without using that button, and then the new automatic logic was later enabled, that forecast won't automatically redistribute on its own.
Even if the total looks correct, the daypart values may still be outdated or missing.
How to fix it:
To trigger a proper redistribution:
- Open the forecast.
- Find the Total Forecasted Sales for the day in question.
- Change the number to something different (even temporarily).
- Then re-enter the correct total.
- Click or tab out of the field to update the daypart values.
- Save the forecast.
This will trigger the system to apply the new automated logic and update the daypart and revenue center breakdowns correctly.
