How do I remove a Product from the Actual Theoretical Report?

To remove  a Product from an Actual Theoretical Report:

1. Change the Company Product to a Category not linked to a Cost Of Goods Sold GL.
   1. Enterprise Manager > Company Product > Category Settings

• You can also keep a Product in the appropriate COGS General Ledger account, but "neutralize" any Variances for it by selecting the "Set Theoretical Equal to Actual" flag

  In Enterprise Manager > Company Product > Optional Tab

  Check the Set Theoretical to Actual checkbox

  When this box is checked, the Theoretical Cost of the Product at all Locations will be based on inventory depletion instead of data from the Point-Of-Sales System and the report will not show a Variance for that Product

• The value of the "Set Theoretical Equal to Actual" flag for the Company Product may also be customized for specific Location Products in the EM Location Product setup screen

  The "Set Theoretical Equal to Actual" flag is typically used for Products that are not included in Recipes sold via the POS and Menu Mix files, e.g. ketchup packets or other condiments to which customers can help themselves
