Issue
- Files are not importing into the CDP Service, resulting in stuck files in the CDP Service.
- Exports are not being delivered to CDP Service, resulting in exports in "CDP No" status on the Outbound Integrations screen.
- Files are uploading to the wrong site or environment. For example, a file was imported into your production environment instead of the test environment.
Troubleshooting
- Confirm the CDP access credentials in the cdpi.in file are current. Four fields should be validated:
- password
- sitename
- userid
-
URL
Note: If the password for the Application User is updated in the Enterprise Manager or Net-Chef, it must also be updated in the cdp.ini file.
- Check for any .test files and delete if found.
Why are these test files created? The CDP periodically creates test files to verify the system functions as expected. These test files ensure that the CDP has the correct permissions for file creation, renaming, and deletion in the folder. A 'test.file' is created to ensure the CDP can write to a folder and then rename the file 'test2.file'. Then, the CDP should remove the 'test2.file' to ensure the ability to delete is functioning. Sometimes, a test file becomes stuck in a stage, preventing further file uploads into Crunchtime. A test file-related error will indicate the folder in the CDP where this occurred and which part of the test file process.
- Check for any recent error files in the log folder. These logs can be shared with Support for further troubleshooting.
