September 2026 updates
Crunchtime Insights Portal is available for Crunchtime Kitchen and Host
We’re excited to roll out the Crunchtime Insights Portal! Designed to give you complete visibility into your daily metrics, this upgrade helps your team track efficiency, spot trends, and optimize performance faster than ever.
- Dashboards: View data on dashboards for the entire company and drill down to a single location.
- Customize Views: Remove unnecessary fields or graphs to allow you to focus on the data that means the most to you.
- Deep-Dive: Use filters and information tools on the dashboards to see the underlying data for any metric.
- Speed of Service Analytics: Track station level work flows from first display to final bump.
Once provisioned, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the Sigma Crunchtime Insights Instance.
Now you can compare the current ConnectSmart Insights to new Crunchtime Insights through the end of the year. In October the new Insights portal will become part of the Enterprise Portal for easier access.
Ops Execution tasks now appear on the Kitchen Display System
Operational tasks like temperature checks, prep reminders, and cleaning routines can now surface directly within Crunchtime Kitchen, so back-of-house teams can see and complete them from the same screen where they manage orders, without switching devices during service.
Here's how it works:
- Tasks created in Ops Execution that aren't assigned to a specific person automatically route to Kitchen and appear on the KDS when they're due, after active orders in the queue.
- Simple yes/no Basic tasks (like "take out the trash") can be completed right on the KDS.
- Complex tasks that require a photo can be claimed on the KDS and finished later in Ops Execution, where photo capture is supported.
- Once a task is completed, its status syncs back to Ops Execution so managers can track it in reporting as usual.
This integration is free for customers using both Crunchtime Kitchen and Ops Execution, and requires Crunchtime Kitchen 2026.10 or later. Contact your Customer Success Manager to learn more and check out the feature tour.
