A Franchise Change of Ownership (FCO) accompanies this sale and ensures data is appropriate separated between the businesses within Crunchtime. This process creates a new location in the destination site, and copies current operational information from the original location in the source site, while maintaining historical information at the original entity.
When do I need an FCO?
An FCO is needed when moving an existing location in Crunchtime from one URL to another URL within the same company from one site to another (corporate to franchisee, franchisee to franchisee, or franchisee to corporate).
This process is not needed when creating a brand new location with no historical transactions in Crunchtime. If you accidentally create a new location in the wrong URL, the new location should be re-created in the correct URL.
Requirements
One or more active products at the source location.
One or more posted periods at the source location.
Financial and Reporting calendars for the current and previously fiscal year are setup in the destination site.
Financial and Reporting calendars for the current fiscal year are setup in the source site.
Post calendars for the current fiscal year are setup in the source site for the original location.
Sister location has post calendars for the current fiscal year (only when using sister location).
