Viewing form submissions and reports
At the most basic level, reports are how you get the information you need out of Zenput. You can create a report based on any criteria in a form (Example: Date submitted was in the previous 30 days; A store's score is under 60; or 'Is the bathroom cleaned' is answered 'no'). You can also report around a user or location (Example: during a particular date range, what has a user done in Zenput; or what has been done at a specific location during a particular period).
Accessing the form dashboard
|
Understanding the dashboard view
The Dashboard gives you an easy way to view submission data in easy-to-digest tables, graphs and charts. At the top of the dashboard, you can filter the data. Examples could be submissions per day, submitter, date submitted, etc. Every question on the form will be shown on the dashboard. The type of visualization depends on the field type. For example, number fields will show averages, multiple-choice will show graphs, etc.

Comparing data across time periods: You can compare data from one time period to another. In the filter section at the top, simply check the 'Compare to' checkbox and choose what time period you would like to compare. The dashboard will automatically populate everything with a time period comparison. |
Using list and gallery views
If you would like to view your data from the List or Gallery view, use the navigation buttons under the form name.
| Click on "List" at the top to view all submissions in a table format. From here you can click on any individual submission to view its details. |
If you are receiving forms from your team that does not include a map of their location, please make sure that their phones have location services (GPS) turned on.
Here's how they can check their settings:

Tip: For more information on filtering and exporting data, see our articles on How do I filter and export submission data from list view? and What is the gallery view and how do I use it?
You can also create a saved report that you can get emailed or manually exported. For help creating a saved report, see our article on How do I save a report?
Editing form submissions
Granting permission to edit submitted forms
Before users can edit submissions, you need to grant them permission. This applies to each form individually, unless the form is distributed by Role.

How to edit field values in submissions
Did someone enter the incorrect location or answer on a form? Here are the steps to update the fields on a form that has already been submitted.

Important limitations:
- Signature fields in form submissions can only be removed from the field. A signature cannot be added to the field from the edit view or mobile app after the fact.
- Making edits to submissions does not always update the total at the end of a form containing a formula.
- If a form submission is tied to an open task, changing the location will not fix the task issue. You'll need to follow these additional steps:
- Create a task for the store that the form was accidentally submitted for (the one now showing as completed but was not completed). See the article
How do I create a task?
- Archive the task that shows missed by the store that submitted the form for the wrong location. See the article
Archiving or Deleting tasks... What's the difference?
- Create a task for the store that the form was accidentally submitted for (the one now showing as completed but was not completed). See the article
Exporting submissions to PDF
You can export individual form submissions as PDF files that will be emailed to you.

Please note: Before deleting, make sure you have selected the correct submission as this action might be irreversible.
For managers: Ensure you have the necessary permissions to delete submissions from reports. This can be set by your admin in the Distribution settings of your form.
