📊 How to export specific questions from forms

When you need to analyze specific data points from your forms without exporting everything, you can create customized reports that include only the questions you need. This allows you to focus on relevant metrics and streamline your data analysis for specific teams, locations, or time periods.

Create a customized report with specific questions

  1. Click on 'Reports' from the dashboard.

  2. From the reports view, click on 'Create Report'.

  1. Select which form you would like to build your report for. Once you've selected the form, click the 'Create Report' button.

  1. From the forms list view report page, set the filters to the parameters you would like to view (Team, Date submitted, Location, etc.).

  1. To create your customized report, use the drop-down arrow next to 'Select Questions'. Here you will select the specific questions on the form that you would like included in your report and click 'Done'.

Export your customized report

  1. Once the questions for your customized report have been set, select 'Export (Selected Columns)' on the top right-hand side.

  1. You will see a green message, "Your report will be emailed to you shortly".

  1. The email will include a link for you to click and download to your device.

What's included in your export: The report will only include the specific questions you selected, along with metadata such as store location, location external key, submission date, timezone, submission location, and a link to the full submission.

Schedule recurring customized reports

Once you've created your customized report, you can save and schedule it to be delivered automatically on a recurring basis.
