Transactions in the Booking Journal are not ordered by their create or last touch timestamps, but are simply ordered by transaction type and business date. You will first see the "incoming" transactions for each business date, following by the "outgoing" transactions.
For this reason, the Cumulative Quantity listed on the Booking Journal may not display the true on-hand during any given transactions.
Note: Transactions such as "Inventory Adjustment" and "Variance" may actually increase Inventory, but they are displayed last because they are typically the last transactions of a particular day.
The View Cost Changes button in the Booking Journal will display a timestamped record for each transaction that caused a change in product cost, which can be helpful for pinpointing the time a particular transaction occurred.
