Why can't I Edit/Delete a Post Date for a Location?
Once a Post Calendar has been set up for a location, Post Dates cannot be adjusted or deleted by a user if any one of the statements below is true:
- The current user's user group does not have the “Financial Calendar—Add/Delete/Copy/Save” control enabled.
- Transactions have been created for the Post Period. This includes any Vendor or Commissary / Customer Orders with an Expected Delivery Date that falls into the Post Period.
- Inventory records have been created for the Post Period.
- A record will be created just by retrieving the Physical Inventory screen for the Post Period.
- Budgets have been created or imported for the post-period.
