Why aren't Sales Forecast Populating in Impact or Today's Operating Metrics?
The Inventory app and Today's Operating Metrics will only show the "Sales Forecasted" data when there is data in the "15-minute tables." This data is very granular and allows it to be appropriately displayed in the Inventory app and Today's Operating Metrics. Once the 15-minute tables have data, the Sales Forecasts will be populated in the mobile app and Today's Operating Metrics.
Usually, there are issues when a Location just starts using Crunchtime because they have no Posted data. If that is the case here are the steps you can take to troubleshoot.
- Post Inventories with Sales and Menu Mix (the data updates overnight during an internal database job)
- Wait for the overnight database job to run. This runs automatically once a day (usually around midnight) and can not be kicked off manually.
- (The next day) Go into the current and future weeks' Sales Forecast.
- Save and Review Sales Forecast.
