We've added two new pages to the Ops Execution Template built on submission data. Until now the template focused on task completion and outliers, which shows whether a task was done but not how it went. These pages show what's failing, where, and whether the answers being submitted can be trusted.
Submissions:
• See the most frequently failed forms, fields, and field types, plus how failures are trending week over week..
• Rank locations by failed fields and drill into the detail behind each one, down to the form, question, answer, and the role of the user who submitted it..
Temperature Submissions:
• Track total temperature checks, out of range readings, and out of range rate over time, broken down by location, form, and field, along with a split of manual vs. probe readings..
• Surface suspicious temperature submissions via adjustable criteria within the report .
This means food safety and operations teams can easily pinpoint which checks and locations need coaching

Insights Assistant helps you monitor performance and draw correlations across key KPIs that don't show up when you're looking at data in separate solutions. It's conversational, so you can ask plain language questions and get recommendations back, giving a operators a clear next step instead of a data point they have to interpret themselves.

By adding substitution visibility data into our Purchasing Template: Filter by Actual Delivery Date, customers can now track exact product and pack-size substitutions, separate temp cost spikes from real price hikes, and see pre-approved vs. ad-hoc swaps. This gives purchasing and operations leaders the concrete data they need to explain cost variances and hold vendors accountable.

- Above-store users can immediately see how sales, gross profit, theoretical cost, and units sold compare to the same period last year.
- A grouping control lets users easily switch between Product, Category, and Subcategory through the UI without worrying about formulas.
- A Top/Bottom N variance chart highlights the biggest YoY movers, so teams can quickly spot which items are declining in sales or margin.
- A supporting detail table breaks results down by location and product, with side-by-side current vs. LY values for each measure.
- Comparisons are available by both Reporting Period and Fiscal Period, with filtering by hierarchy, franchisee, and location.

New Operations Scorecard Template
We're giving a big update to Crunchtime Insights to give store managers a clearer picture of their performance. Tracking metrics is a good start, but the real value comes from seeing the big picture. With the new Operations Scorecard, GMs can benchmark their store against others in the company across key areas: consumption, labor, inventory variance, net sales, and task completion. It takes the guesswork out of finding performance gaps, making it much easier for managers to pinpoint where they need to adjust and improve.
Tip: Embed the Operations Scorecard directly into NetChef, so managers get performance visibility right where they already work.

Menu Mix Template Enhancement: Menu Mix Historical
We've added a new historical report and dataset to the Menu Mix Template, purpose-built for analyzing menu mix data over long periods of time. Unlike the existing dataset which operates at the atomic grain, this one is optimized for performance when looking at large date ranges and goes back significantly further than what was previously available.
- This means customers can now analyze Revenue, Theoretical Costs, Profit, Selling Price, and more by Category or Product across years of data without the performance issues they'd hit on the standard dataset.
- Finance teams can track long-term menu performance, compare new vs. old products, and factor in operational differences across time periods like COVID-19.

New Ops Execution Template Enhancement: Task Completion Outlier Detection
We've added a new Task Outliers report to the Ops Execution Template that helps customers protect task integrity by flagging suspicious completions based on distance and time.
- This makes it easy to identify when employees are completing tasks far from the store, whether from home, on vacation, or outside expected timeframes.
- Customers can set their own distance and time thresholds using simple slider controls, with all results updating dynamically. A detailed table flags individual outlier tasks while a visual leaderboard surfaces which locations or projects are the biggest offenders.
Effective date 04/27/26: You can check it out on our Ops Execution Template here!

Bug Fix: We’ve addressed a bug with GLs impacting franchised customers
Previously, the GL Number/Description columns only displayed corporate values, even when franchise GL values differed. These franchise-specific GL values are now available in reports in addition to the old corporate values.
Franchisee users can now see and use their own GL values when building or filtering custom reports.
Customers who have custom reports with calculation formulas using GLs should update those calculations to reference the corporate GL value for consistency.
