When you update recipe setups, product pricing, or waste configurations after sales have already been imported, you must undo and reprocess the Menu Mix for those dates. This ensures that the system recalculates inventory depletions and financial values based on your new settings.
⚠️ Important Concepts
Failed CDP Files: If you are reprocessing data to fix a pricing error, any "Failed" files currently showing in inbound integrations for those dates will remain "Failed." Once your Reprocess Batch is complete, you may manually Cancel those failed files to clear your view.
Prerequisites: Ensure all recipe or price changes are saved before beginning the steps below.
Part 1: Undoing Menu Mix Data
The "Undo" step removes the existing sales data and reverses any inventory depletions for the selected period.
Navigate to Interfaces > Undo/Reprocess Menu Mix.
Select the Begin Undo Menu Mix Batch button.
Set the File Date Range to the impacted Start and End dates and select Retrieve.
Choose a Reason for undoing the data (e.g., "Price Correction").
Check the boxes for the Locations/Dates you need to fix.
Select Undo Menu Mix for Selected Locations and Dates.
The system will now begin removing the data. You can monitor the progress on the Undo/Reprocess Menu Mix Summary screen.
Part 2: Reprocessing the Data
Once the "Undo" process is complete, you must trigger "Reprocess" to bring the data back in using the updated logic.
-
From the Undo/Reprocess Menu Mix Summary screen, locate the batch you just created.
Note: You may need to refresh or adjust the Date Range filters to see the batch.
Select the batch and click Reprocess Selected Batches.
The status will change to Reprocess In Progress.
Part 3: Confirming Success
Once the process is complete, the system will:
Reinstate the Menu Mix data with updated pricing/recipes.
Update the batch status to Reprocess Successful.
Clear any "Missing Menu Mix Sales" tasks from the Dashboard.
Troubleshooting: "Stuck" Batches
If a batch appears stuck in In Progress for an extended period:
Verify via Reports by running the Menu Mix Status Summary report.
Check the Bins: If the data appears in the Reprocessed Files column for your locations and dates, the database update is complete even if the UI status has not yet refreshed.
Manual CDP Cleanup: You can now safely cancel any old "Failed" files in the Inbound Integrations screen.
