How to fix inaccurate Earned Hours
When you have a problem with the Earned Hours on the Performance Metrics report, it can be low Earned Hours on a specific day for a specific location, or it can impact several days for various locations. This is often influenced by when the earned hours for that date were last recalculated.
Issues with Earned Hours are usually because a change was made to Staffing Level Templates (SLT) and the change was not applied to the Teamworx schedule. Changes made to Staffing Level Templates are not automatically reflected on Ideal and Earned Hours on existing schedules.
To fix this issue, the Staffing Level Templates must be manually reapplied to existing schedules, and then the schedule must be saved.
- Login to Teamworx for the affected location
- Select Edit for the schedule for the week being impacted
- In the edit view, select Settings icon to open the Labor Schedule Settings pop-up
- Click the Staffing Level Templates tab and confirm that all of the desired Staffing Level Templates are checked
- Click Submit to save the Labor Schedule Settings
- Before leaving the schedule, click Save to trigger an Earned Hours recalculation in the database
After saving the schedule in Teamworx, you need to update the Performance Metrics dashboard in Net-Chef to see the latest Earned Hours.
- Open the Performance Metrics dashboard in Net-Chef
- In the upper right corner, click the Refresh icon to recalculate the dashboard
How can I trigger a recalculation of Earned Hours?
The previous steps in this article show you how to trigger an Earned Hours recalculation by re-saving a schedule in Teamworx. There are three ways that you can cause Earned Hours to be recalculated.
- Saving a schedule in Teamworx
- Importing a menu mix file in Enterprise Manager
- Undoing and reprocessing a menu mix file in Enterprise Manager
